Avalanche accidents rarely occur without warning. Are you prepared? Do you know the "Red Flags" warning signs? An Avalanche Level 1 Course will be presented by the Brighton Ski Patrol in accordance with American Avalanche Association and National Ski Patrol Guidelines.
This intensive 24 hour course focuses on- Avalanche Fundamentals, The Avalanche Triangle, Route Finding and Safe Backcountry Travel, Snowpack Observations and Testing, and Group and Partner Rescue Scenarios
Due to a kind donation course cost has been reduced to just $120.00.
Friday Feb 10th 5-9pm Saturday 11th All day Sunday Feb 12th All day
Course requires, shovel, beacon, probe, advanced skiing/riding skills, and a means for uphill travel (AT, tele, split board-skins, snow shoes)
